Clive and Matt Ryder

Clive and Matt Ryder are based in Coventry, and have released one CD called String Band Music. They are a father and son duo.

Matt plays guitars,bass guitar, mandolas and banjo. Clive plays guitar, slide guitar, mandola, accordian, bouzouki. He also plays Northumbrian pipes and playedmixture of bluegrass and Northumbrian tunes and songs.

Workshy Profits

Workshy Profits are a trio of musicians from North Lincolnshire who perform a dazzling fusion of traditional and contemporary music from around the world. They combine elements of traditional British and European Folk, Jazz, Latin, Flamenco, Gypsy and contemporary music in an exhilarating harmonious combination.

Feature Night with Simon Jackson and Jim Walker

Simon and Jim are 2 great local musicians: Simon is a very fine guitarist, singer, writer and arranger and Jim is one of the best fiddlers around these parts. Their recent teaming has proved highly successful and they have received excellent reviews wherever they have played. They performed a great selection of traditional and contemporary songs and tunes including some penned by themselves.

Well, what a fantastic night we all had on 11th December with many thanks to the mighty Pete Morton, Maggie Boyle and Chris Parkinson for their spectacular Christmas Special set, not to forget Mike Helmy on the uillean pipes, Nigel Lawson on harmonica, Bethan and Jessica Mackie for their songs and dancing and the great duo Jim Walker (fiddle) and Simon Jackson (guitar and vocals)

Tim Garland (of Fieldwork) with Nitin Odedra

 Tim is a great singer of traditional and contemporary songs - many self-penned - and a gifted instrumentalist. He is accompanied by Nitin on tabla and dholak, with Tim playing cittern, guitar and fiddle. 

At the club they will be performing an exciting and unique selection of mainly traditional songs and tunes.
